    A target motor is needed to develop a fuel injection control. Some throttle bodies are made for an old Lotus motor that's been sitting around. These are used to mount fuel injectors to the intake runners. An intake manifold is constructed  with a common throttle valve.

 

Making Stromberg/SU type Throttle Bodies

    You can buy these but RDG&A made some anyway.

Starting with a chunk off a block of 6061 aluminium.

Turn a 3" cylinder

Then a 2.5" cylinder,

The 2" dia. waist has been cut.

Now we drill the throat to 1",

and finish by boring to 1.5".
